Resetting LinkedIn Connection

Learn what steps to take when you need to reset the connection between your LinkedIn account and Brand2Social.

Occasionally, re-authenticating solely through Brand2Social may not be adequate, requiring a direct disconnection from LinkedIn to fully reset the connection. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit your LinkedIn profile, click on your profile image in the top right, choose Settings and Privacy, then navigate to Data Privacy.

  2. Scroll down to Other Services and click on Permitted Services.

  3. You should locate Brand2Social there. Disconnect it from the LinkedIn account and then attempt to reconnect it through the Brand2Social app.

Subsequently, the connection needs to be reestablished through Brand2Social.

  • Why am I unable to mention other people?

    Regrettably, this feature is not supported by LinkedIn's API. You can only mention companies.

  • Does Brand2Social permit posting in LinkedIn groups?

    Unfortunately, this is not supported by LinkedIn's API.

  • Can we post PDFs/carousel posts on LinkedIn?
