
Integrating your YouTube account with Brand2Social simplifies video content management by enabling you to schedule and publish videos directly from our platform. This integration allows you to streamline your video marketing efforts, ensuring timely and consistent uploads to engage your audience. With centralized management and performance tracking, you can monitor views, comments, and other engagement metrics to optimize your YouTube strategy.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are met:
- You must have an active YouTube channel linked to the Google account you will use to authenticate.
- You must be the owner of the YouTube channel you wish to connect.
- You have valid login credentials for the Google account associated with your YouTube channel.
- You are using a supported browser (latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) with cookies and pop‑ups enabled.
Step 1 — Navigate to the Integrations Page
1. Log in to your Brand2Social account.
2. In the left-side navigation menu, click on Integrations under the Social Accounts section.
3. You will see a list of all available social media platforms.

4. Locate YouTube in the list and click the Connect button next to it.
Step 2 — Choose Your Google Account
After clicking Connect, a Google login window will open in a new tab.
1. If you are already logged in to a Google account in your browser, Google will display your available accounts.
2. Select the Google account associated with your YouTube channel.
3. If you are not logged in, enter your Google email address and password and click Next.
⚠️ Important: Make sure you select the Google account that owns the YouTube channel you want to connect. If you manage a Brand Account on YouTube, select the Google account that has manager access to that Brand Account.
Step 3 — Review and Allow Permissions
Google will display a permissions screen listing what Brand2Social is requesting access to.
1. Review the permissions carefully — these are required for Brand2Social to upload and schedule videos to your YouTube channel.
2. Click Continue to grant access.

ℹ️ Note: If you have previously connected your YouTube account and are reconnecting, you may be taken through this screen again. Ensure you click Continue to refresh the authorization.
Step 4 — Confirm the Integration
Once you have granted permissions, Brand2Social will finalize the connection.
1. You will be returned to the Integrations page.
2. Your YouTube channel should now appear with a green connected status or a checkmark indicating a successful connection.
3. You will also see your channel name and profile picture displayed on the integration tile.
4. The integration is now complete — you can start scheduling and publishing videos to YouTube from Brand2Social.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
My YouTube channel is not appearing after authorization
- Confirm that the Google account you selected actually has a YouTube channel. If no channel exists, create one at youtube.com before attempting the integration.
- If your channel is a Brand Account, make sure the Google account you signed in with has Manager or Owner access to it via myaccount.google.com/brand-accounts.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration to force a refresh.
The YouTube connection shows as “Expired” or “Disconnected”
Google access tokens can expire if you change your Google password or revoke app permissions. To fix this:
1. Go to the Integrations page in Brand2Social.
2. Click the three dots next to the affected YouTube channel.
3. Click Reauthorize and complete the Google login flow again (Steps 2–3).
Videos are not publishing to YouTube
- Verify the integration status is Connected (not expired).
- Make sure the video meets YouTube’s upload requirements (supported formats: MP4, MOV, AVI; maximum file size: 256 GB; maximum length: 12 hours).
- Check that you have selected the correct connected YouTube channel when composing the post.
- Note that YouTube may take additional time to process uploaded videos before they become publicly visible.
