
Integrating Instagram with Brand2Social enhances your social media management by enabling you to create, schedule, and publish posts directly from our platform. This integration allows you to manage your Instagram content efficiently, ensuring consistent and timely updates to engage your audience. Simplify your Instagram management and maximize your social media impact with Brand2Social.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are met:
- You must be an owner or admin of both the Facebook Page and the Instagram account you wish to connect.
- Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account – personal accounts cannot be integrated.
- Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page that you administer.
- You have valid login credentials for the Facebook account associated with that Facebook Page.
- You are using a supported browser (latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) with cookies and pop‑ups enabled.
Step 1 — Switch to a Business or Creator Account
If your Instagram account is already a Business or Creator account, you can skip this step and proceed to Step 2.
On the Instagram Mobile App:
1. Open the Instagram app on your mobile device and log in.
2. Navigate to your Profile by tapping your profile picture in the bottom-right corner.
3. Tap the menu (three lines) in the top-right corner.
4. Select Settings and privacy.
5. Scroll down and tap Account type and tools.
6. Tap Switch to Professional Account.
7. Choose either Business or Creator depending on your needs
Step 2 — Link Your Instagram Account to a Facebook Page
Instagram must be connected to a Facebook Page for the Brand2Social integration to work.
Already linked? If your Instagram is already connected to a Facebook Page, skip ahead to Step 3.
On the Instagram Mobile App:
1. Go to your Profile and tap Edit profile.
2. Under the Profile information section, tap Page.
3. If you already have a Facebook Page, select it from the list. If not, tap Create a new Facebook Page and follow the prompts.
4. Tap Done to save your changes.
On Facebook (Desktop):
Alternatively, you can link from the Facebook side:
1. Log in to Facebook and navigate to your Facebook Page.
2. Click Settings in the left-hand menu.
3. Select Instagram from the settings menu.
4. Click Connect account and follow the prompts to log in to Instagram and authorize the connection.

Step 3 — Connect Instagram on Brand2Social
Now that your Instagram account is set up correctly, you can begin the integration within Brand2Social.
1. Log in to your Brand2Social account.
2. In the left-side navigation menu, click on Integrations under Social Accounts section.
3. You will see a list of all available social media platforms.

4. Locate Instagram in the list and Click the Connect button next to it.
- You can either choose to connect your Instagram account via Facebook in which case you should be the admin of the Facebook page.
- Or else you can choose to connect your Instagram account directly via Instagram itself but in such case you’ll be unable to analytics Report on Social due to API limitations.

ℹ️ Note: If you see the message “There are no Facebook pages connected to your Instagram account,” it means Step 2 was not completed successfully. Return to Step 2 and ensure your Instagram is properly linked to a Facebook Page before continuing.
Step 4 — Authorize via Facebook Login
Because Instagram’s API operates through Meta, you will authenticate using your Facebook credentials.
1. After clicking Connect, a Facebook login pop-up window will appear.
2. Enter the email address and password associated with the Facebook account that manages your Facebook Page.
3. Click Log In.
4. Facebook will display a list of permissions that Brand2Social is requesting. These permissions are necessary for scheduling and publishing posts. Review them carefully.
5. Click Continue to grant the requested permissions.
6. On the next screen, you will be asked to confirm which Facebook Pages Brand2Social can access. Make sure the page linked to your Instagram is selected (toggled on).
7. Click Done.
⚠️ Important: If you toggle off access to a Facebook Page during this step, Brand2Social will not be able to access the Instagram account linked to it. Make sure all relevant pages are enabled.
Step 5 — Select Your Instagram Account
After completing the Facebook authorization, you will be redirected back to Brand2Social.
1. Brand2Social will display a list of Instagram accounts linked to the Facebook Pages you authorized.
2. Select the Instagram account you want to integrate by clicking on it or ticking the checkbox next to it.
3. If you manage multiple Instagram accounts, you can select more than one at this stage (subject to your Brand2Social plan limits).
4. Click Connect or Confirm to proceed.

Step 6 — Confirm the Integration
Once you have selected your Instagram account(s) and confirmed, Brand2Social will finalize the connection.
1. You will be returned to the Integrations page.
2. Instagram should now appear with a green connected status or a checkmark indicating a successful connection.
3. You will also see the connected Instagram account name and profile picture displayed on the integration tile.
4. The integration is now complete — you can start creating and scheduling Instagram posts from Brand2Social.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
“There are no Facebook pages connected to your Instagram account”
This error appears when Instagram cannot find a Facebook Page linked to your account. To resolve this:
- Confirm your Instagram account type is Business or Creator (not Personal).
- Ensure your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page (see Step 2).
- Confirm you are an Admin of the Facebook Page in question.
“I logged in with Facebook but no Instagram accounts appeared”
- You may have logged in with the wrong Facebook account. Make sure you are using the Facebook account that manages the Page linked to your Instagram.
- Check that you granted Brand2Social permission to access your Facebook Page during the authorization step.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.
I don’t have admin access to the Facebook Page
You must be an Admin of the Facebook Page to complete the integration. If you are not, ask the current Page admin to:
- Add you as an admin via Facebook Page Settings → Page roles, or
- Complete the Brand2Social integration themselves using their Facebook credentials.
Posts are not publishing to Instagram
- Verify the integration status is Connected (not expired).
- Make sure the post meets Instagram’s content requirements (e.g., image dimensions, video length).
- Check that you have selected the correct connected Instagram account when scheduling the post.

Once your Instagram account is successfully connected to Brand2Social, you can take advantage of the following features:
- Schedule Posts — Plan and queue Instagram posts in advance using the content calendar.
- Publish Directly — Publish images, videos, carousels, and Reels directly to Instagram without leaving Brand2Social.
- Manage Multiple Accounts — If you manage multiple Instagram accounts, switch between them easily from the dashboard.
- Analytics — Track engagement metrics such as likes, comments, reach, and impressions directly within Brand2Social.
- Content Calendar — Visualize your Instagram publishing schedule alongside other social platforms in a unified calendar view.
- Team Collaboration — Assign posts for review, leave comments, and approve content with your team before publishing.
